WORDPRESS ITDR ADMIN
Your ITDR Admin is a plugin that will allow you to brand your blog amoung other things. If the ITDR Admin has been activated, you will find it at the bottom of the left navigation bar. If you have not activated this plugin please go here and do so.
UPLOAD IMAGES TO YOUR HEADER
1.) Click ITDR Admin
2.) Click “Header”
3.) Click “Upload” at the bottom of the left panel
4.) Click “Add Files From Your Computer” in the new window
6.) Wait for the files to finish uploading and click “Done”
ADD VIDEO TO YOUR HEADER
Adding video (.flv) is an advanced feature. There are three ways to do this. Please read the different methods below.
1ST WAY: Side load
1.) Click ITDR Admin
2.) Click "Header"
3.) Type the URL of the location of your .FLV movie. At the bottom of the new window under "-Or-", is a text field.
4.) Click "Done" when you see the green check mark.
Hint: if this doesn't work, your server may have timed out. If this is the case, try the following methods.
2nd WAY: Upload
This methods works if you have the .flv movie on your computer.
1.) Click ITDR Admin
2.) Click “Header”
3.) Click “Upload” at the bottom of the left panel
4.) Click “Add Files From Your Computer” in the new window and find your .FLV movie.
5.) Wait for the files to finish uploading and click “Done”
HINT: If your video does not load, it could mean that your server has a maximum upload cap on files and your file is too big.
3rd WAY: Use clipnabber to sideload
This method will help you shrink a video.
1.) Go to this url http://clipnabber.com/
2.) Paste your url to your video in the space provided and click nab
3.) Then paste the new code in the side load area and click done.
4th WAY FTP: Use clipnabber to download
1.) Go to http://clipnabber.com
2.) Put your video in the space provided
3.) This time you are going to download FLV
4.) Create a folder in your FTP
5.) Drop the FLV file you just created into the folder you just created
6.) Click ITDR Admin
7.) Click "Header"
8.) Type the URL of the location of your .FLV movie. At the bottom of the new window under "-Or-", is a text field.
HINT: this is the path location that you just created for the video (ie www.yoursite.com/videos/mymovie.flv)
9.) Click "Done" when you see the green check mark.
ADD AN IMAGE AND WELCOME TEXT
Click ITDR Admin Click “Welcome” Click “Upload New”, browse your computer and add the image Type your text in the description box Click “Save”
ADD YOUR LOGO, CHANGE COLORS
Click ITDR Admin Click “Design” Click the “Basic” tab Make the changes you would like Click “Save”
ADD A BACKGROUND IMAGE
Click ITDR Admin Click “Design” Click the “Advanced” tab Make the changes you would like Click “Save”
ADD GOOGLE ANALYTICS
1.) Click ITDR Admin
2.) Click “Setup”
3.) Click the “Settings” tab
4.) Add your code in the “Google Analytics Code” area
5.) Click “Save”
HINT: Add the entire code. It starts with <script type, and ends with </script>. For more information read our Google Analytics page.
ADD TWITTER
Click ITDR Admin Click “Setup” Click the “Settings” tab Under “Use Twitter Bool”, check this as “True” Type your twitter username Click “Save”
