FAQ
What are the images sizes for HyperLyte?
- The maximum width of the images in your blog entries is 970 pixels wide.
- Your header images should be cropped to 1000x270 pixels.
- All images should be saved webready.
How do I change my logo?
- Log into your MT admin panel
- Go to Manage -> Pages
- Click on the page titled ‘logo’
- Upload your image by click the icon of a picture just above the text box.
- Once the image is uploaded to the page, click Save
How do I change the welcome text/image?
- Log into your MT admin panel
- Go to Manage -> Pages
- Click on the page titled ‘about’
- Edit the text in the text box
- Click Save
Can I add/change twitter?
- No
How do I change the images in my Flash Header?
Version 2009 - via movable type
- Scroll to bottom of the home page in movable type’s backend.
- Click the “Header” tab.
- Click “header” in the sets column
- Upload your images (default header size: 1000px by 400px)
- Publish (the circle of arrows in the navigation bar)
Version 2008- Via FTP
- Log onto your server via a FTP client
- Your images for your header are stored here: /darkroom/blog/gallery
- Simply delete and/or upload images to that directory. The header cycles through the images randomly.
Can I embed SlideShare max onto my blog?
Version JULY 2009
- Go to www.yoururl.com/darkroom/share/admin/embed.html
- Put the name of your slide show that you would like to embed into your Blog
- Click generate code.
- Copy that code
- Log into your MT admin panel
- Create or edit an entry
- Paste the code into that blog entry
- make sure the format says none (dropdown, top right, above blog entry)
- Save and publish
Version 2008 - JUNE 2009
- Log into your MT admin panel
- Create an entry
- In the text filed type the client folder name gallery_name i.e. smith
- Toggle the ‘Format’ box at the top of the text field to ‘Darkroom Shortcuts’
- Preview or Save your entry
- FYI: the music will not play on the blog to conserve bandwidth.
