Why is my navigation disappearing under the logo?
- The Dream site auto resizes the site to fit smaller browsers. However, you may find that the navigation slides under the logo on really small browsers. To prevent this, you can lock the minimum size of the site. To do this:
- Go to your site
- drag the bottom right corner of the browser window and drag it until the website is as small as it can get without covering up any navigation.
- Take a screen shot, bring it into photoshop and determine the size of the browser (do not include the tool bar, etc). Then:
- Log into the admin area of your site
- Click on advanced settings
- Scroll down and look for “Site Minimum Size”
- Change the size to the size of your site
- Click out of it and save
Can I modify the contact form fields?
- Yes, but this is FOR ADVANCED USERS only: You can modify your contact form fields by adding the following code to your WILDCARD DATA field on your contact page.
- Then, use the following text as a base for how you want your form to display:
- FromNameField=Name
- FromAddrField=Email
- UserURIField=Contact Phone
- EmailSubjectField=Event Date
- EmailTxtBodyField_multi_num=4
- EmailTxtBodyField_multi_0=Event Location 1
- EmailTxtBodyField_multi_1=Event Location 2
- EmailTxtBodyField_multi_2=Mailing Address
- EmailTxtBodyField_multi_3=City, State, Zip
- Submit=SEND
- Where EmailTxtBodyField_multi_num is the number of body line items, and each line item is called out as “EmailTxtBodyField_multi_#” where “#” is a numeric value starting at 0. The last item (in this case 3) is always the last multiline textfield. If you don’t need a multi-lineitem body, you can can also use this form to over-ride the existing text labels:
- FromNameField=Name
- FromAddrField=Email
- UserURIField=Contact Phone
- EmailSubjectField=Event Date
- EmailTxtBodyField=Message
- Submit=SEND
How to add Google Analytics to your site
- login into your site.com/admin
- then click on advanced settings
- scroll down toward the bottom and you will see an area that says Google UA
- Insert your UA code
